Norwegian Cruise Line invites Indian travellers to explore Asia-Pacific

Departing from five major ports: Manila, Singapore, Taipei, Tokyo, and Seoul

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has unveiled plans for a series of Asia-Pacific itineraries aboard the refurbished Norwegian Spirit, set to sail from September 2024 to April 2025. This eight-month season will feature voyages departing from five major ports: Manila, Singapore, Taipei, Tokyo, and Seoul.

The Norwegian Spirit, with a capacity of just over 2,000 guests, will offer 14 immersive itineraries catering to various tastes and preferences. Among the onboard features are the adults-only Spice H20 pool retreat, Mandara Spa, 14 dining options, and entertainment choices, providing a wide range of amenities for guests.

Ben Angell, VP and managing director of NCL APAC, expressed the company’s commitment to the Asia-Pacific region. He stated, “Having more ships and an expanded selection of itineraries across Asia Pacific ensures NCL’s presence as both a source market and destination.” The itineraries will cater to diverse preferences, including multi-generational families. Various stateroom options, including interconnecting and family staterooms, will be available to accommodate different group sizes.

 Highlighted Itineraries: 

  • 12-day Japan Round-Trip from Tokyo: departing on October 23, 2024, this itinerary will provide an in-depth exploration of Japan, featuring overnight stays in Osaka and Kyoto. Travellers can experience the Edo period architecture of Kanazawa, the natural beauty of Akita, hot springs in Beppu, and the contrast of Buddhist temples and city life in Busan, South Korea.
  • 10-day Asia from Seoul to Tokyo: Starting on March 13, 2025, this itinerary includes visits to nine ports in 10 days, with an overnight stay in Osaka. Highlights include the natural attractions of Jeju, the arts and crafts of Naha (Okinawa), and a bay cruise near Mt. Fuji in Shimizu.
  • 12-day Asia from Seoul to Tokyo: departing from Seoul (Incheon) on April 2, 2025, this cruise is perfect for travellers eager to witness Japan’s iconic cherry blossoms. Stops include Kanazawa, Himeji, and Tokyo’s famous parks.

These itineraries aim to offer travellers diverse experiences throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
