-

In a significant development at ITB India 2024, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Iranian Tour Operators Association (ITOA) and the Outbound Tour Operators Association of India (OTOAI), aimed at bolstering tourism ties between India and Iran.

The agreement was signed by ITOA Chairman Mr. Mostafa Shafie Shakib and OTOAI President Mr. Riaz Munshi at OTOAIā€™s Booth (D29) during the event. Key figures from both associations, including OTOAI Vice President Mr. Shravan Bhalla and Joint Secretary Ms. Monia Kapoor, were present at the signing ceremony.

This partnership reflects a growing commitment to enhancing tourism exchanges and exploring new opportunities for collaboration between the two nations. The participation of a high-level Iranian delegation, led by Mr. Shakib, underscored the importance of the MoU, which is expected to open new avenues for sustainable growth in the tourism sector.
