Plaza Premium has opened its latest Australian airport lounge, with the unveiling of a space at Adelaide International.

It is currently the only lounge within the airport’s International Departures area, with entry costing A$63.90 for a two-hour stay, or A$76.50 for up to five hours.

Facilities include free wifi, showers, bar snacks and “from freshly prepared dishes highlighting both local and international cuisine”.

Note that the lounge is not currently serving alcohol, with Plaza Premium advising that “we invite our guests to enjoy a range of a premium non-alcoholic sparking, wine, beer and mocktails such as Espresso Martini or Aperol Spritz”.

Opening hours are 0730-1200 daily (1300 on Monday and Thursday).

The group is advertising a 10 per cent discount on entry rates for visits up until March 14, on top of the 20 per cent discount for Smart Traveller members.

Last year Plaza Premium Group opened the first in-airport hotel in Australia, located within the International Arrivals area of Sydney airport’s Terminal 1.

The group also operates departure lounges at Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, and is the operator of the Skyteam and American Express lounges at Melbourne and Sydney airports.
