Sabre Corporation has announced a new agreement with Sun Siyam Resorts, a renowned Maldivian-owned hospitality group with over 30 years of experience in managing luxury private island properties in the Maldives and a boutique beach retreat in Sri Lanka. The collaboration aims to boost Sun Siyam Resorts’ reach and revenue through Sabre Hospitality’s SynXis platform, the leading global commerce and distribution solution.At the heart of this partnership is Sabre’s SynXis Central Reservations System (CRS), which will be integral to Sun Siyam’s distribution framework. With the integration of SynXis Channel Connect, GDS connectivity, and the SynXis Booking Engine, Sun Siyam Resorts will efficiently distribute room inventory through direct channels and an extensive network of travel agencies worldwide. This includes over 600 global online travel agencies (OTAs), global distribution systems such as Sabre’s own, and major meta-search engines like Google, TripAdvisor, and Kayak. Additionally, the brand has adopted Sabre Hospitality’s Corporate Booking Tool to facilitate wholesale bookings by travel agents.Furthermore, SynXis Retailing will allow Sun Siyam to personalize the booking experience, offering guests a curated selection of experiences, amenities, and wellness options during the reservation process. The resorts provide a variety of activities, including whale watching, fishing, elephant safaris, and sandbank dining.
