Travelport has appointed digital industry veteran Naomi Hahn to lead its Go-to-Market, Marketing and Communications, and Commercial Operations functions as the global travel technology company strengthens its focus on connected, data-driven and customer-centric growth.
Travelport has announced the appointment of Naomi Hahn to a senior leadership role overseeing its Go-to-Market, Marketing and Communications, and Commercial Operations functions.
Hahn will work across the organisation to bring greater connectivity between teams, strengthen data-driven decision-making and support Travelport’s next phase of commercial growth.
John Mangelaars, CEO of Travelport, said Hahn’s combination of commercial expertise, strategic leadership and experience in building high-performing teams would be important as the company continues its transformation.
“Naomi brings commercial rigor, strategic clarity and genuine care for the people she leads, which will be instrumental as we build a more connected, data-driven organisation,” Mangelaars said. “Her track record of turning strategy into action and building high-performing teams makes her exactly the right leader to power our next phase of growth.”
More Than Two Decades in Digital Leadership
Hahn brings more than 25 years of experience in the digital industry, including more than two decades in senior leadership positions.
She spent six years as part of the Executive Team at Skyscanner, where she held several leadership positions, including Chief of Staff, VP Strategy & Operations and, most recently, VP Data.
At Skyscanner, Hahn was responsible for shaping the company’s global data strategy and transformation. She also played a central role in the organisation’s broader strategy, transformation programme and post-pandemic recovery.
Her experience in data-led transformation is expected to support Travelport’s efforts to create a more integrated organisation in which commercial, marketing and operational functions work closely together.
Experience Across Consumer and B2B Markets
Before joining Skyscanner, Hahn spent 11 years at Auto Trader, becoming part of its Executive Team in 2014.
During her tenure, she held leadership positions spanning consumer and B2B marketing, commercial products, digital strategy and digital advertising sales.
Her career has included building brands, developing digital products and commercial propositions, and helping businesses and customers adapt to significant changes in the digital landscape.
That combination of commercial, technology and customer-focused experience will be particularly relevant as the travel industry continues to evolve towards increasingly digital and data-driven distribution models.
Focus on a Customer-Centred Organisation
Hahn said she was looking forward to working with Travelport’s teams and customers as the company continues to develop its organisation.
“I’m looking forward to working with our teams and clients to continue to grow an organisation that is truly customer-focused, connected and data-driven,” Hahn said.
Her appointment comes as travel technology companies increasingly focus on integrating data, technology, commercial strategy and customer engagement to respond to changing expectations across the global travel ecosystem.
For Travelport, Hahn’s broad digital and leadership background is expected to play a key role in aligning these areas as the company pursues its next stage of growth.
