In a move that reflects the growing convergence of luxury travel and wellness tourism, Travstarz Global Group hosted what it describes as India’s first experiential B2B outbound wellness showcase for travel trade partners in Chandigarh. Held on July 13, 2026, at Foot Spa Café, the event introduced an immersive networking format that combined destination education with firsthand wellness experiences.
Breaking away from traditional conference-style presentations, the showcase invited leading travel agents to experience a restorative spa session while exploring emerging opportunities in outbound wellness tourism. The concept was designed to mirror the premium experiences increasingly sought by affluent Indian travellers, particularly those looking for wellness-focused international holidays.
Travstarz Global Group, an outbound Destination Management Company (DMC), a Trip.com-invested enterprise and B2B Promotion Partner with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), said the initiative reflects changing consumer preferences and the travel industry’s need for more experiential engagement with trade partners.
According to Sucheta Nagpal, Director and CEO of Travstarz Global Group, the company deliberately selected Chandigarh to launch the initiative, citing the city’s growing importance as a gateway to India’s expanding Tier II and Tier III outbound travel markets.
“Over the last few years, we have systematically conducted targeted training and networking workshops across primary and emerging cities. Our core competitive strength has always been our deep penetration into Tier II and Tier III hubs. This time, we intentionally chose Chandigarh to introduce an integrated vision of wellness tourism,” she said.
Sucheta Nagpal added that the response from travel partners underscored the increasing demand for premium outbound wellness experiences among travellers from the region.
Beyond wellness tourism, the event also served as a platform to showcase Travstarz’s expanded international destination portfolio. The company highlighted new offerings across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa, including Abu Dhabi, Turkey, Greece, Georgia, Vietnam, Japan, South Korea and Egypt. With these additions, Travstarz now offers standalone operations across 21 international destinations.
The company also reinforced its presence in North America through its Los Angeles headquarters, presenting a portfolio of more than 600 itineraries spanning the United States and Canada.
Following the positive response to the Chandigarh event, Travstarz Global Group plans to replicate the experiential trade engagement model across other regional markets in India, strengthening its partnerships with travel agents while promoting high-value outbound travel products.
A multi-award-winning outbound DMC, wholesaler and airline consolidator, Travstarz Global Group provides B2B travel solutions for travel agencies, tour operators and MICE planners. Leveraging advanced global reservation systems and destination expertise, the company continues to expand its presence across the Indian subcontinent and international travel markets.
