Vietnam Airlines is taking a significant step to enhance air connectivity between India and Vietnam with the launch of direct flights from Bengaluru and Hyderabad to Hanoi. Starting in May 2025, the airline will operate four weekly flights from Bengaluru (BLR) and three weekly flights from Hyderabad (HYD) to the Vietnamese capital, using its state-of-the-art Airbus A321 aircraft.
This new service expands Vietnam Airlines’ presence in India, joining Delhi and Mumbai as key departure points for flights to Vietnam. The airline’s move into South India comes in response to a surge in demand for travel to Vietnam and other Southeast Asian destinations.
Passengers on these new routes can expect a premium travel experience aboard the Airbus A321, which features comfortable seating, modern cabin interiors, and curated Indian meal options. Vietnam Airlines is also known for its exceptional service, ensuring passengers experience the renowned hospitality the airline is famous for. These flights will offer seamless connectivity to popular destinations across Japan, Korea, China, Australia, and ASEAN countries, providing greater convenience for Indian travelers.
